My Mary Kay Story

I believe it was June 2005 when I started my Mary Kay business. I was a college student., I had a job, but just looking for extra money. 6 years later I am still proud and excited to be a Mary Kay Independant Beauty Consultant. That December, I held my own Holiday Open House and sold over $1,400 in products (in one day)! You bet I was excited! 

Throughout the years, I've been busy with other things like becomng a Licensed Esthetician, completing an LVN program, and creating another Business that I call Krissy Cakes! Through it all, Mary Kay has always been there. For me, Mary Kay is a good fit because it's always there when I'm ready to put myself out there again, and it also has always been there when I needed to attend to other things and priorities in my life.   

As a consultant, you are never alone. I can always call my recruiter Sallie Polk-Steere, and you are part of a team with amazing Directors, which my Director is Sayra Flores form Brentwood, Ca. There are meetings that you can attend that keep you on your feet and there are AMAZING career conferences and seminars! I had the pleasure of going to a Seminar in Dallas, Texas which I can't even describe how amazing and inspirational it was!

Now that I have a tiny bit of extra time and need the money, I plan on being nore active in my Mary Kay business.

PUMP IT UP!

OMGOSH, celebrating my God-daughter's birthday at Pump-It-Up (in Livermore) was SO MUCH FUN! My cousin Kristianne and I played like we were kids again! haha We're seriously thinking about having our birthdays there :) They do adult parties and I think it would be a great time! :) Enjoy the pics of us being kids again! ;)

April Showers

April started off not so great. My mom was hospitalized on Thurday, March 31st until Wednesday, April 6th for a kidney stone which was blocking her ureter which caused a bad kidney infection. Thank goodness she's better now though she still has to go back to get the stone removed. It's never fun having a loved one in the hospital. It became overwhelming, but prayers helped me through.

The weather lately has been crazy and...confused! One day it's sunny and beautiful and the next it's hailing! So unpredictable!

Anyway, this past weekend I had the chance to make some creations that I've never done before so take a look and enjoy!
